Artist's Description
My family and I were spending the week on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. My wife and I decided to get up the next morning to watch the sunrise. We both woke at 5:45 am quickly got dressed and made the short walk to the beach. As we approached the end of the boardwalk only a small sliver of the sun was appearing on the horizon. There were a few people sitting on the beach waiting on the sun to make its appearance. As the sun got higher in the sky a group of people walked into my frame. At first I wasn't too happy but then thought they would add dimension and scale. The next thing we noticed were dolphins swimming in close to the beach. We'd see them come to the surface and then disappear. Then we noticed a pair together. We saw them the day before and wondered if it was a mother and young one? But here they were again in perfect position in the frame!
About Skip Tribby
Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to browse my photography. I am based in northwestern Pennsylvania surrounded by a large Amish community. I am a long-time photographer. I have bought three Canon dSLR cameras over the years. My first was a Canon EOS T3i and then I upgraded to a 70D. In 2022 I learned that Canon was doing away with its EOS line of cameras, so I upgraded to a 90D. My favorite subjects...
