Artist's Description
There is a small grove of Sassafras trees across the road from my house. These are some of the few leaves this Autumn that have much color. I was taken by these for three reasons.
1) Their bright colors
2) Sassafras leaves have three different shapes. (Single, double and triple lobed leaves)
3) This resembles a stained glass window.

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to browse my photography. I am based in northwestern Pennsylvania surrounded by a large Amish community. I am a long-time photographer. My introduction to photography was with a 35mm Minolta SRT 101 SLR in the early 1970s. I fell in love with the work of Ansel Adams and wanted to do mostly black-and-white photography. When my wife and I started a family I fell away from photography and gave up film and photo development along with my darkroom. Now that I am back. I have bought three Canon dSLR cameras over the years. My first was a Canon EOS T3i and then I upgraded to a 70D. In 2022 I learned that Canon was doing away with its EOS line of cameras, so I upgraded to a 90D. My favorite subjects...
