Walking the beaches of the Outer Banks, North Carolina, is one of my favorite experiences in life. The sound of the surf can be so relaxing and the sunsets can be pretty spectacular. All of these pleasurable elements gives you time to relax and reflect on life. Some of those life experiences can be like the waves that keep pounding the shore. They can wear you down or you can learn to ride them and go for the ride of your life.
Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to browse my photography. I am based in northwestern Pennsylvania surrounded by a large Amish community. I am a long-time photographer. My introduction to photography was with a 35mm Minolta SRT 101 SLR in the early 1970s. I fell in love with the work of Ansel Adams and wanted to do mostly black-and-white photography. When my wife and I started a family I fell away from photography and gave up film and photo development along with my darkroom. Now that I am back. I have bought three Canon dSLR cameras over the years. My first was a Canon EOS T3i and then I upgraded to a 70D. In 2022 I learned that Canon was doing away with its EOS line of cameras, so I upgraded to a 90D. My favorite subjects...
