Artist's Description
My family and I spent the week of Labor Day at Corolla, NC on the Outer Banks. The weather was beautiful, but there was a rip current the whole time we were there that created a lot of rough surf. It made fishing difficult, but the few surfers that were still there were enjoying the nice waves. I got this shot early one morning as the waves 5 - 6 footers and were breaking on shore creating these uneven patterns.
